The Legacy Collection
Van Halen photographs from the years I was there. The Legacy Series offers smaller-format prints of photographs from my years documenting Van Halen, giving fans and collectors a more accessible way to own these images.
Each print is professionally produced on carefully selected, premium photographic paper to bring out the detail, depth, and character of the original photograph. These are not ordinary consumer prints—they are professionally made photographic prints created to be enjoyed, displayed, and collected. From iconic stage moments to rare backstage photographs, candid moments, and unique perspectives, The Legacy Series opens the door to another part of my Van Halen photographic history.
The photographs. The moments. The legacy.

David Lee Roth, caught from the side of the stage in a moment almost impossible to believe. Suspended in midair and reaching for his toes, Roth is isolated in a spotlight, with the massive lighting rig above and the stage falling away below him. A rare perspective on one of rock’s most electrifying performers—and a frame that captures the sheer physicality of David Lee Roth in flight.

From a rare side-stage perspective to a view straight into the audience, David Lee Roth was captured in flight. In this frame, he comes directly toward the crowd, reaching for his toes in midair—a signature Roth moment that showcases the athleticism, energy, and sheer abandon he brought to the stage. Seen alongside the side-stage image, the two photographs offer very different perspectives of the same extraordinary performer, caught in motion. Together, they tell the story of David Lee Roth in flight.

Sammy Hagar — In Flight
Eddie Van Halen could leap. David Lee Roth made it an art form. But Sammy Hagar could get some serious air, too.
t’s another perspective on the physicality and energy that made Van Halen performances so unforgettable. Different performers. Different personalities. Different ways of commanding a stage. Yet all three knew how to leave the ground.
This photograph captures Sammy Hagar in flight—raw, spontaneous, and unmistakably rock ’n’ roll.
